the director is frank darabont and the writer is stephen king. the producer is Niki Marvin their compinies
are castle rock entertainment and the village road picture and the distribution company is Columbia pictures and was released on 17 February 1995. its genre is prison and drama fiction with Tim Robbins and Morgan freeman.



Narrative
 at the start of the movie man is balmed for the killing of his girl friend and is sent to a nasty prison and is getting to know people in this prison the good and the bad. In the middle he is planning to escape setting up plans to dig a tunnel through the wall with just a spoon.At the end he escapes and is free and makes a call to the police that the prison owner is horribly corrupt and the owner kills him self before he is sent to prison but after a few years his other friend leaves the prison and they meet up on a beach together.the story in real time takes about 30 years, i think before the movie he lived a normal life with his girl friend until he is blamed for killing her. i think after the story him and his friend build a busnisses and lives happily and undetected.

Disruption:this is were something goes wrong.

Recognition of disruption: where the main character realises something is wrong.

Attempt to solve disruption: he is trying to do something about it.

New equilibrium: the problem is sovled. 

Equilibrium: a man has been acused of killing his girl friend.

Disruption: he is sent to prison and it is a life scentence.

Recognition of disruption: he is planning to escape.

Attempt to solve disruption: he has escaped. 

New equilibrium: hes has escaped and him and his friend are free.

  Wednesday 21 September  2021 LO: To apply the theoretical framework to media texts. Media Language   All the different elements used to construct any media product. Camerawork establishing shot tells us the place time and scale of the area and enviroment. The wide places a person in a certain place. Long shot is when someones or things enter body is in the shot but it doesn't have to be central. Medium long shot is a shot from the top of there dace to mostly there waist and is used to present someone with confidents. Mid shot is a neutural is form the body just to there head and is used to show different objectives in a shot. Close up is from mid chest to above there head is to capture good reaction. Close up shot is used to show a dramatic change in emotion and is used in a time of decision. extreme close up is normally on the eyes to see where someone is looking.
